Latitude / Longitude

they say: it all comes down to latitude and longitude
perhaps, abandonment caused this mad ideal
where i can leave at will [at will?]
free and unencumbered by conscience [and emotion]
but you can't! you shouldn't!
oh god, you can't!
oh god, you shouldn't!
oh god, you won't!
oh dear, dear god, what will i do without you!
my friend!
my unrequited love!
my flame!
my lover!
how can i let any of you go?

i clutch your face and hands,
kneel and plead,
be it in my head
with my sobbing thoughts
or in my anguished heart
with my quick feet behind you,
my voice all quivery

i avenge myself and rid of the absent
i spit my ghost in the eye
i, i, i
i kick loneliness
i lay waste to your precious will
and nestle in your chest

they say: latitude is longevity,
longitude is depth

latitude is longevity
but, but, but!
longitude is depth

[or is it backwards?]

i wish for both!
but long for latitude
which circumnavigates my globe
endlessly
tirelessly

i do not want for longitude
and to sink [and sink]
like an unfixed anchor
lost at sea
lost and lonesome

i long. long for any of you
[my friend!
my unrequited love!
my flame!
my lover!]
to run along my silvery line

forever
[for as long as i want]
